What is to stop them from sending another invoice for yet another amount? It seems to me an unscrupulous way to conduct business. I stated that since the mistake was theirs, they should eat the $17 mistake. The billing person said since I had an in-person appointment in June, I should have known the virtual appointment was supposed to be $200 as well. I was told the fee for the virtual consult was $200 and they had made a mistake billing me only $183. I called the billing department and asked about the additional charge. ![]() In September I received a statement dated Septemthat said I owed an additional $17.00. I received a bill for the consult in the amount of $183.00, which I paid in full with a check dated August 15, 2020. I had a virtual appointment with a doctor at Panorama on July 15, 2020. I cannot imagine someone of older age having to go through this situation with little to no support while Panorama takes advance How is it possible with continuous reviews and complaints from patients surrounding the same subject illegal billing practices this medical office can stay in business! This office is illegally completing balanced billing and needs to be stopped. They have advised they "will send me to collections". I am exasperated and emotionally distraught over this matter. Cigna also has been in touch with Panorama to put a stop to this and are reaching the same dead end as I. Cigna, my insurance provider - advised to me they paid all my insurance bills applicable to my coverage and calculated based on my copays & explanation of benefits that I should not have had any remaining balance due to this medical office. I have also reached out to my insurance company who was my provider during time of services. In fact they typically end the conversation abruptly stating they are not getting anywhere in the conversation and I must pay what they say is due. Their representatives continue to talk in circles, be very rude and unprofessional regarding the matter. I have been communicating via email to their representatives with all my previous proof of payments, copies of all statements identifying the difference between Jan 2021 insurance portion zeroed out vs all prior statements. I have been calling Panorama and now had MULTIPLE different billing representatives phone me back only to tell me I owe that balance with no explanation why this balance is due. All line items on the statement matched the Oct - Dec 2020 previous statements only now the column for insurance balance was zeroed out and my new account balance was revised to $480.38. Then that same month, I received a new paper statement for January 2021. Now a year after my last visit to their location. ![]() I was able to complete my final account balance payment of $120.33 on January 19th 2021. During the months of October 2020, November 2020 and December 2020 my final account balance was repeatedly identified on the statements at $120.33. Many months later August 2020 I started receiving new paper statements in the mail with now a new balance owed. Days after my last in person appointment I was informed my final patient balance due was $246. I paid my co-pays each time I visited the office. I was a patient at Panorama Orthopedic for in person physical therapy services taking place throughout late 2019 with my final in person appointment concluding in February 2020. This office is illegally completing balanced billing.
